Each Thursday, we offer a window into life “beyond the MBA classroom” at a top business school. Students at the Haas School of Business at the University of California (UC), Berkeley, take advantage of life as part of a large public university not  just academically, but athletically as well. On Saturdays when the UC Berkeley football team, the California Golden Bears, has a home game, Haas’s courtyard becomes the site of a large tailgate party, complete with cookouts, music, and cheer competitions.
